Polyester Resin 250g

Description:

Polyester Resin- contain high 'tradesmen' quality resin from either Australian or imported suppliers. Polyester resins are the most commonly used matrix in the marine and composite industry. These resins are styrene-based, and so therefore flammable and catalysed when combined with Methol Ethyl Ketone Peroxide (MEKP) - available as a kit in our store. 

Coverage is determined by surface applied to – see available cloth descriptions to determine required amount.

Approx. amount of Catalyst needed for resin Qty's (at 2%)

* Directions for use: Mix resin and hardener in the ratio shown on the label and apply to saturate Fibreglass Cloth, Chopped Strand Mat or other materials.

When working with these resins in large projects it is advised to use goggles, gloves and a chemical respirator to protect yourself from the fumes.
