Fire-resistant Type A1 marine fuel delivery hose for below-deck and under-floor feed and vent. Certified to SAE J1527 Type A1 and ISO 7840 A1. Also marked to USCG and Lloyds on the cover. Smooth black reinforced rubber tube and cover.

Sold per metre in one continuous length. Not a 30 m workshop roll and not PVC above-deck outboard hose.

Use it for

• Permanent fuel feed from tank to filter or engine
• Fuel tank vent / breather below the floor
• Petrol, diesel and E10

Do not use it for

• Deck filler hose — that is Type A2 (38 mm / 50 mm)
• Portable-tank outboard runs in the sun if you only need cheap PVC — that is a different hose
• High-pressure fuel injection

A1 vs the cheap hose

A1 is fire-resistant and low-permeation so it can run under the floor. Grey PVC and SAE 30R7 outboard line is for portable tanks and exposed runs. Do not put PVC under the deck — vapour goes through it.
