Marine Washdown Pump Kit 12V | Hose and Gun | Mako

A complete marine washdown pump kit, built to be used, not nursed. The Mako Ultimate, model MKWP1-050-070-55. Pump, coiled hose, spray gun and adaptors in the one box. Bolt it down, clip the hose on, and wash the boat.

This is the kit you buy when a cheap washdown has already failed. Over 17 litres a minute at 12V, and a shut-off of 65 to 75 PSI, so it has the pressure to clear an anchor well, a fish box or a dinghy, not just rinse a deck. Squeeze the gun and the pump starts. Release it and the pump stops. No switch to remember.

The parts that usually rust are stainless. The bracket and the feet are genuine 316, not painted steel that freckles after a season in salt. The body is corrosion-resistant and rated IPX5, so spray off the deck does not end the pump. The pressure switch is serviceable. When it eventually needs attention, it can be serviced rather than thrown away.
