Norglass Fibreglass Cloth 1m² | 200gsm Woven Glass Fabric

Genuine Norglass Fibreglass Cloth 1m² — the woven glass fabric Norglass specifies for reinforcing epoxy and polyester resins.

This is not chopped strand matt. It is a scrim-weave cloth: glass yarns woven into a thin, even sheet. That weave is why it is used for sheathing, fairing and finer repairs where you want strength without the bulky texture of matt.

Why use cloth instead of chopped strand matt

• Thinner, more uniform laminate
• Uses less resin — about 250ml of catalysed polyester resin per 1m² (matt needs about 800ml)
• Wets out clear and lays flatter on timber, decks and existing GRP
• Better for sheathing timber and reinforcing surfaces that will be sanded and painted
• Can be used with Norglass Polyester Resin or Norsystem epoxy
